When I was growing up, my dad would take me across the Columbia River to go play putt-putt golf with our cousins.
The business was called Steakburger, which, as I am sure you can imagine, allowed us to shovel in some burgers before getting started on a round of mini-golf.
So when I was thinking about fun things to do with the Flux team as well as with my friends and boyfriend, I recalled the fun I had as a kid going to play putt-putt golf.
I remember seeing the "big kids" on their dates and dreaming about the day I would go on a date to play putt-putt golf.
So the other day, I asked my boyfriend to plan more fun things to do together. Usually, I am the one making plans and organizing people to go out and have fun, so I asked to be the one who gets to take advantage of other people's plans.
So, Collin and I went mini-golfing at Camp Putt and Roaring Rapids Pizza Co., which is just barely in Springfield.
For the $5.50 per person, you get to go through boulders, over streams, and under waterfalls while trying to make par on the quite beautiful little course.
If I were to go again, I would eat first and go with a bigger group of people because we seemed to rushed through. We were hungry and could have taken our time more if we were watching more people play.
Nevertheless, I can't wait to go back again, maybe for an evening round!
