This morning, I finally had an admissions interview with Northwestern's journalism graduate program. It took me a long time to sign up because it wasn't required, but it was strongly recommended, so I called in.
I have high hopes for graduate school, aiming primarily for Columbia, Northwestern, and Stanford. However, in the last week or so, I have been having second thoughts about where I would like to go and the direction in which this decision will send me.
I was very nervous for this phone call, but talked myself down and picked up the phone. I scheduled it for the 11:00 time slot and remembered the time difference between here and Illinois.
The questions were straight forward, and I think I answered effectively and communicated my intentions well.
It was an interesting moment because, as of right now, I am torn among future decisions, making the nerves I was feeling seem less important.
I will keep you posted on my graduate school admissions process, given that I know what is going on.
