Looking forward to happily home hopping for the holidays...

It is already week seven out of ten. I can't believe how fast these weeks have passed. We are almost ready to prepare our final projects and pull out our study guides for finals.

This would usually be a huge relief, but this year, I know that when this term is gone, there are only two left; after those two, there will be none.

I will be graduating in the spring. And that means that there will be no more looking forward to holiday seasons. When I graduate, I will spend my winters looking forward to a day or two of vacation between my 9 to 5's.

So this holiday season should be one that I will always remember. I have plans for Chanukah, Christmas, and New Year's Eve, with my dad, his girlfriend, my mother, and my boyfriend's extended family.

There will be tons of people to catch up with and to make memories with. There will be numerous opportunities to develop my cooking skills and time to decorate.

Holidays are always special to me because they don't have set traditions for me. Now that my life is a medley of relationships and families, I get to look forward to a fresh set of holidays every year.

Someday, I hope that I can create a home that will welcome all of my families together under one roof. Until then, I will be happily home hopping for the holidays.
