I have never had such a fantastic Halloween.
Because I am sober and academics-oriented, I usually spend my weekends doing homework all day and watching movies until 11:30, when I contentedly go to sleep.
This weekend, however, I went to more holiday celebrations than I have ever gone to in my entire life.
Here is a night-by-night line-up of events:
• Thursday night, the Public Relations Student Society of America held a fundraiser at Agate Alley Bistro, so my friends and I went to celebrate. We saw tons of people from the journalism school, live music, and costumes galore.
• Friday night, my friend Kinsley held a masquerade cocktail party, which ended up at Max's Tavern, where people were dressed in their Halloween Costumes. I was a She-Wolf from Shakira's video.
• Halloween night, after the Ducks waddled all over USC, Eugene was party-central. So a bunch of my friends dressed in our costumes and went downtown. I had never been to the dance clubs in Eugene because I don't drink and I turned 21 this summer. But I went with my friends and we danced on the stage in the front of the crowd. We ended the night at my friend's house watching scary movies.
Needless to say, I am in desperate need of sleep and dieting, but I will remember the Halloween of my senior year in college forever.
