So I have been in my classes long enough to tell you that they are honestly pretty boring, so far. It's only the start of week two so hopefully they get better. All of the professors are super cool though. I love them all. My hip hop class is awesome too. Ever since this summer I have decided it is time to bust loose and that is what I'm doing, but with a little help from an awesome instructor. My German classes are pretty easy and in one of them the teacher does most of the talking so I don't even speak much. The other one is taught in English so I don't speak in that one. I'm only taking geology because I need more science credits. It is mildly interesting, but not enough to make me excited to go to class. The writing class is the same way. Sometimes I feel like the discussions go really well, other times I feel they are super boring. It depends on the topics I guess.
So I hear this awful noise. It sounds like wheezing or something. I feel like it's from a horror movie, where there is a girl hiding in the closet watching the creepy masked man wheezing while he makes his way toward her hiding place. Then I hear a sniffle and then a cough... Oh wait, that's not the horror movie, it's me the other morning. It rocks being back in the dorms!! I live on a floor with about 80-100 other people 50+ of which I share a bathroom with. I'm not the only one though. Just walking down the hall sounds like a death party or something.
You know what else I get to hear? So I'm walking down the halls this evening and there is a frantic rushing sound. Pretty soon I can hear pencils scratching across paper and fingers furiously typing away at a keyboard. You can almost hear the beads of perspiration dropping to the floor. As I'm starting to wonder what in the world is going on (for I feared it was the end or something) a kid rushes out and says they got it!!!! It was the first online quiz for the FIG (freshman interest group) that lives in my hall. Oh the poor freshmen have so much to learn. Words to the wise for those of you who are freshman or soon to be... don't wait until the last minute to do something. It only creates more stress for you. Just do it in a timely manner.
Well that's my thoughts for today, slightly incoherent due to the amount of vitamin C I'm on I'm sure. So until next time...
