OH MY GOSH!!! It was sooooooo...... beautiful today!! Well yesterday was too, but because of my little knee problem I got stuck inside a little too much. However, today I decided to take it easy so I could enjoy the outdoors. Not to mention, my knee is only bothersome today, rather than in any real amount of pain. Anyhow, the sun was so beautiful today. It's way too hard to be down on a day like today. The sun was shining, I got out of my late Friday discussion class, and I hung out with friends. There is a picture of the sun (which I thought was quite awesome since it's not an easy thing to capture), then there is me, my roommate Signe behind me, and Catie behind her soaking up some rays (they actually did homework I just let mine sit in my backpack), and then there is the tree that is in our courtyard. It's been blooming for a few days now and with the sun and everything it was too awesome of a picture to pass up. I was good though. I didn't get burned, or at least to the point of being noticeable. My nose is a little sore if I scratch it, but like I said nothing noticeable. I wish there would be more days like this, but it is going downhill and fast this week. By Wednesday I think it is we are back to low to mid fifties. I guess that is pretty good though for Oregon (or rather the Great Northwest) in the spring. I can't really complain. We were just being teased the last few days. I'm ok with the cooler weather; I just don't like the freaking rain. I'm so tired of it. It's good for the landscape though. I heard from someone, or somewhere, that it didn't rain as much this year as it usually does.It didn't feel like it, but I have lived in the Great Northwest my whole life so I guess I'm just use to it. Well that's all I really have to say about the weather. It makes you not want to do homework so be warned. On the other hand, my knee is getting better. I love that. I am a very independent person so having to always have a meal buddy is a pain in my rear. I am getting to the point where I can limp pretty ok and take care of a few things when I have my brace on. I can accomplish a lot on my own in the dorms. Today was a heck of a day though. I had two classes and they were spread apart nicely. It still wore me out though. There is just something about crutches that take more energy, then with my brace on I was super hot in the beautiful weather, but I managed. It was tough, but I just keep thinking: What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger. Well I love watching the Monday show Heroes and it is on in forty minutes and I'm kind of digging a smoothie so I think I'm going to grab a buddy and run down there (or hobble I guess) before my show. So until next time...
