Spring Break

March 26, 2009 - 4:54 PM

Well Spring Break is almost over. I can't say it's been the most amazing time, but it's been better than being at school doing homework and all that good stuff. I have had the best food since being home. I have had chicken enchiladas, BLT, my mom's homemade stew, and a bunch of other stuff that I can't eat at school. It's always hard going back to the school food when you have had a break. It's weird. You really miss home cooked food and the solitude. I mean you get used to being in a hall full of other people, some people are really quiet, others louder, some that go to bed before you and yet others that go to bed after you. You really enjoy having those people around after a few weeks too. It seems really weird not having them around when you first get home. Then after a couple of days you realize how much you appreciate the solitude. I'm not the kind of person that likes to be by myself more than I have to be. I get nervous or anxious. I just feel better being around others so I always try to surround myself with people. Well when I come home I'm alone. My parents are divorced, my mom works, and my brother had school. His Spring Break isn't until next week. I thought it would be lame being here alone, but it has been a great treat. I have seen old friends, gone shopping, and hung out with people, but I spend most of the day alone. I get up at eleven or eleven thirty and just be lazy until I feel like getting ready. In today's case I have not decided to get dressed just yet. My brother and I were suppose to play some basketball when he got back from ice cream, but that was two hours ago. Hot girls take more importance than sisters at this age I guess. He stayed home from his youth group snowboarding trip this weekend to see me, but I'm not sure I actually really saw him. I had a lot of plans and so did he. One of the plans was seeing my new baby cousin!! She is so precious. I would have pictures, but no one has sent me any of the ones that were taken yet. I also got to see my other cousin Matthew. That was awesome. I have not seen him in a very long time. I think he still remembered me, or at least that I was his cousin. It's ok though. He is a good kid and I'm sure he will be a good big brother to his little sister. Well that's about all I have for now. I know I'm kind of boring, but I lead such a crazy life at school that I just have been taking advantage of the down time. So until next time...
