My, oh my, what a wonderful week. So Mexico was a definite good break for me. A weeklong of not have to worry about much other than not getting to crazy and getting lost in Mexico. That would have been a great story right? Me getting lost in Mexico. I'll tell you what though; the taxi drivers during rush hour are crazy!! They do not use blinkers at all (not that they do to begin with) and they drive super fast and in and out of traffic and I'm not kidding when I say they stop centimeters before the car in front of them. Close your eyes...are they closed? Ok, good. Now imagine the craziest ride you have ever been on that made your heart race and made you get the feeling that you would be lucky to see the next day...got that feeling? OK, that is how I felt. I was not sure I would see the next day. They also take up to eight people in a normal taxi car. That's right. I went on a cruise one of the days out to an island and when we came back we could not get a van so we got two cars. There were ten of us. There were two people in each car that was sitting on the lap of someone else in the back seat. Scary right? I just could not believe it. I'm glad to be breathing today. Other than the scary taxi drive Mexico was beautiful. I got horribly burned, but it is now a gorgeous tan and I met so many cool people from the mid west. I already knew a lot of people from the west coast obviously, but the mid west I didn't know as many people. The mid west and west coast go to Sizzler together. It is a great way to meet new and exciting people. I don't know why anyone would not want to do this job. There are so many perks to it. We get all of these cool little trips and meet so many people. I just don't know. Ok, well I feel like I'm starting to ramble and my dinner is getting cold. So until next time...
