Oh Chaotic Fun

Walking down the street you smell the sweet smell of kettle corn and caramel corn. The sights are almost mind boggling. You continue going down the street and try to weave your way around all the people, because there is such a crowd. Then you get a little further down the way and you can smell elephant ears, noodle dishes, hot dogs, and from somewhere comes the light scent of candles. There are posters, homemade jewelry, sterling silver rings, wool hats, wool soap, and so much other stuff it would take me a whole page to name it all. All of this craziness is the street fair that is rockin' thirteenth, the main street here on campus, until tomorrow. It is basically just a small piece of the Saturday market here on campus, but it is still fun to walk around and check out all the stuff. It is not as overwhelming as the actual Saturday market, but because it is the main street of campus it can be stressful because every student decides to check it out. It can be kind of chaotic. It is only three days usually so it's not so bad. They will leave tomorrow, not to be seen again until spring (at least I think they come back in the spring).

On a separate note I am going home this weekend. I'm quite looking forward to it because I really didn't get to see my family for the day and a half I was home before school started. This year is different though. I don't plan to go home as much and I don't really feel like I want to too much. I can tell I have grown, though I know I have tons more to do. A friend once told me, "If you're not growing, you're dying." Although that seems kind of extreme I feel that it is quite true. I believe that there is always room for improvement and growth.

Well packing still needs to be done and a little bit of homework and it is already getting late, so until next time...
