Homework is no fun!

Hey all!! So I'm totally writing this to avoid writing homework. Who really wants to do homework ever, but I find it even harder to concentrate after like seven or eight. I just shut down to anything and everything productive. I'm usually really good at getting my homework done by then, but today has not been the best. It's even harder when it's not due until Thursday and it's only Tuesday. It makes you even less inclined to do it. It's even worse when this really cool person is online and you just want to talk to them (cryptic sentence isn't it lol). My cousin is online as well and I enjoy talking with her. I mean, don't get me wrong I'm a good student (yes, I'm going to toot my own horn there). I always get homework done on time. I will this time too; I'll just be a little more stressed tomorrow than usual. Unless I actually buckle down and work on it tonight (which I'm thinking is doubtful and if I do get any started then it will be just a very minimal amount). For me it's hard too, because writing homework is very easy and boring. That is not a good combination. The paper I'm writing right now is the same topic as a big paper I researched and wrote in high school. I chose the topic because I'm passionate about it (elementary schools should teach foreign languages because children have a critical period after which it becomes more difficult to learn). I know that's a huge mouthful and probably makes little sense, but that's what I'm interested in. I love the German language a lot and really wish I could have learned it younger so I could have excellent proficiency. Even still, I am a lucky one and have studied in Germany which has definitely helped. Friday I am taking this huge test that if I pass it the European Union will recognize me as a proficient foreign speaker of the German language. It's pretty cool. I'm a little nervous, but not too much.

girl holding up reading book and giving it a thumbs down.Oh my goodness!! I got this summer internship with southwestern. I'm really excited and nervous and scared and a whole lot else. I'll be gone all summer and I'm not sure where yet. This company sells educational software and books. It will be a great opportunity for me. I get paid; I get experience, and build skills that will definitely help me later in life with whatever career I finally choose. Well my friend and I are speaking German on Facebook and I figure since I'm not going to do much writing homework the least I can do is practice some German for the upcoming test. So until next time...
