Well I am finally home for Spring break. Actually I got home Tuesday night. It is weird being home, but nice at the same time. It's nice to have the break away from school and the whole dorm situation. At the same time, though, it's weird. I have created this life in Eugene. Don't get me wrong, it's nice to come home and see family. I just think that I am starting to grow up for real now. I am learning how to do everything myself and to live with people my own age. I come home and I still do most of the stuff for myself, but my mom and brother are not the same as the other eighteen and nineteen year old girls I live with. I love the girls in my hall. It's like a party every night. All the girls in my hall are really pretty cool. I love seeing my dog though. That is one of the best things about being home. I can talk to my family on the phone get my fix that way, but I can't talk to my dog on the phone. He is not very talkative. He is getting very old too. I'm afraid that each time I leave it will be the last time I see him. It will be a sad day when he goes. He has been in my life since just before I turned seven. It's been most of my life.

Well last night was a great birthday dinner. My grandma and my uncle's birthday were yesterday. Almost the whole family came together to celebrate at Olive Garden. That was really nice too. I got to see the whole family at once. It makes it easier to see everyone at once rather than having to make a bunch of separate trips to see them. It's always interesting getting my family together. My uncle is quite a funny guy, my cousins are always funny seeing how they are seven and ten, and my grandparents are always good for a laugh. I think, like everyone else I'm sure, that my family is the craziest when we are all together. I think everyone thinks their family is the weirdest. Then when you go to someone else's house you realize that their family is weird too. It's all good though right. Would we really want our family any other way? I know I wouldn't. Well friends are over visiting so I'm going to cut this short now. More Spring Break updates as the weeks go along. So until next time...
