Wow. One more day of the year 2008. It's crazy. I can't believe tomorrow is the last day of the year. I thought I would never graduate high school and here it is almost 2009. I wish I could say I have awesome plans for tomorrow to bring in the New Year, but I have to work until ten and then I'll come home and watch the ball drop with my family, and then go to bed to go to work the next day. What a break this has been. I worked Christmas and now I have to work New Year's Eve. It sucks, but it does bring home the bacon. Of course my mom has to pick up my checks since I don't get paid until after I'm back to school. Oh well. It should cover my books. I guess that means I won't lose any money, but I won't gain much. The only plus for working the holidays is time and a half pay!! Well Sunday I head back to school. I have been home almost a month. It has been fun being home, but I'm ready to get back. I've realized that I love having my family and depending on them when I'm home, but I also love just being independent at school. Plus I miss all the wonderful people I have met. Most of which live in California where I hear it is a beautiful seventy some degrees while I'm here freezing. My friend is going to the Holiday bowl because she lives in Frisco. I'm so jealous. I would love to see us play today. Instead I'm going to watch it on TV. Well today was a fun day. I didn't work so my mom, brother and I decided to hit up the one dollar bowling special at the lanes. It was so awesome. I was on a league earlier this year, but it didn't really show my first game. My second and third games rocked though. It was all fun. I was with family. It will be a good memory I take back with me. My brother was pretty amazing. He got like six strikes in the first game. Scored over two hundred. Didn't show the next two games. Ha. Like I said though, it was fun. I enjoy bowling. It's the kind of game you can do with friends and family that is not so competitive and you can talk while playing. I like that the best. Don't get me wrong, I love soccer and basketball too, but there is just something about talking to people while you are playing that is great. I'm a talker though. I like to know what people are up to and how they are and if there is anything new or exciting going on in their lives. That and being away for so long, you have a lot to catch up on. Well I see now that I'm missing the game and I do want to watch us beat whoever it is we are playing in the holiday bowl. So until next time...
