Haircut!!

March 27, 2009 - 4:55 PM

I don't know about anyone else out there, but I absolutely love getting my hair cut. It is shorter, lighter, and for some weird reason it makes me feel great. There is something about it. I guess it is pampering oneself. It's bad how often I have to do it. My hair grows pretty fast so I go about every three or four months. It depends on how short I cut it in the first place. I went in just planning on a trim up and cutting a few inches off. You know, make it look fresh and healthy. Well I started looking through books and magazines and all that jazz and decided it was time for a change. I looked and finally found something I liked. I changed it some so it would suit me better, but all in all I quite like it. My hair was just getting too long to deal with. I like it when my hair is long, but I have no body whatsoever in my hair so the longer it gets the more stick straight it looks and the heavier it is and the flatter it looks. At least when it is shoulder length or so, it appears to have a little body to it. It was just one of the things I have to do before going back to school in two days. I just knew if I waited it would be two weeks before I would want it cut. Might as well do it now then, right?

It's so weird that I'm about to go back to school in two days and my brother is leaving tomorrow for Texas for his Spring Break. All the college kids were this week and now it's time for the Vancouver kids to be going out to have their fun. It should be fun for him. He has not traveled anywhere really and it will be his first plane ride. I hope he doesn't get too nervous. I'm a pretty seasoned flier already. Seeing as how I went to Germany twice and those trips are ten to ten and a half hours. It makes his six hour plane ride with layovers seem like a piece of cake. Well tomorrow is Saturday and I'll be packing and getting some last minute things for me to take back. It will be a busy day and it will be the last day I get to sleep in. I have been sleeping so late that it will be tough getting up at nine. I think I'll handle though. Well dinner is just about done so I'm going to head off now. Hopefully next week will be more excited since it will be the first week back!! So until next time...
