I can actually breathe again. It is really quite nice. I don't just mean that my congestion is starting to clear up either. I mean that dead week is getting easier. I am finished with all homework other than studying for finals. I guess I have two papers to write, but those are kind of like my final for my writing class. In other words I do not feel too stressed. I'll probably end up writing one of the papers tomorrow. The next one I'll write over the weekend. They are not due until Thursday afternoon so right now I am kind of more focused on studying for my geology final. That is going to be a hard one. Professor Blackwell is good about putting questions on the test that are tricky and for some reason I always seem to be one to fall for those traps. It doesn't matter what class either. If there is a trap to fall in I seem to fall into it. Despite my efforts to do it all right, I still get stumped sometimes. I guess that is just life though. Oh well. I'm studying really hard for it and I think I can pull off a better grade than on the midterm. I am not too worried about my other finals. I have a pretty good handle on the German language so that final should be easy and we get to use the texts we read for my German literature class so that should not be too hard either. I can reference the book or text if I cannot remember the answer. I do need to worry a bit about the papers though. I have definitely tried my hardest on all of them, but I'm sure I stand at a D or C in the class. I do not think she takes too kindly to the way I present my arguments. In her opinion it is too weak. For me it was how I was taught to write and it is hard to change after so many years. I'm working hard to correct that. As much as I am aiming for a B in the class I will take the C. It would be better than a D, because if I am not mistaken that means I fail. Also it kills my GPA just having a C and I have to worry about academic scholarships. Well it is dinner time and my stomach is yelling at me for not having eaten anything yet. Stay tuned though for my finals updates and the end of the term cheer. So until next time...
