Wow, the girls on the second floor played the funniest joke on us. They changed all the posters and signs upside down last night. They tried to blame it on the boys, but seeing how this is college there is people up at all hours of the day, or should I say night. It was harmless, which was good, but really funny I thought. It's something I've definitely never seen before. Originality is so hard to come by anymore. Everything seems to already have been done. Oh well. It's not my problem really.
The first week is going pretty good so far. Psychology Mind and Brain is going to make me do some serious critical thinking, but it will be good. It will teach me to look at things in a different light. I like learning new things and seeing things from a different perspective than my own. It gives me more... ways to the see the world, I guess. My writing 121 class should teach me to be a better writer. I don't know if it will help the blog any though. I mean grammar or spelling wise perhaps, but the papers we will be writing will be persuasive papers. I'm not really blogging to persuade you of anything, except for coming here and all I can do to help that is give you my perspective. Self defense should be good too. We didn't start anything yesterday, but tomorrow we are getting down to the nitty gritty. German is as good as ever. I love the people in my class. They are all so funny. It's a very enjoyable class and it's my favorite subject so it's hard to hate. The last class I have is intro to guitar. We didn't start playing yesterday, but we learned how to read music and stuff. I know how to read music, but I can't really play. I have tried to teach myself, but it's a pain. You have to really keep up with it and give it your time. I think this way I'll be able to get enough basic skill to continue on my own if I want. The only thing I'm waiting for is my German retreat. That should be fun. It's an overnight ordeal. The only way I can fail the credit is if I speak English. Considering I spent six and a half consecutive months in Germany one night should be nothing. I think it will be fun and great experience. I'll definitely blog about that. Well that's the update for the new term. So until next time...
