So Friday night was pretty fun. I went to a themed little party and it was sixties and eighties. It's always to fun to see what all people do for dressing up. So much work goes into each and every outfit. I never used to take that much time in getting ready for anything. I'm the kind of girl that just doesn't care a whole lot whether or not people like how I dress. I wear what‘s comfortable to me. Being in college has changed that for me though. I mean I still don't care that much, but somehow I take more time on myself. For classes not so much, but when I'm hanging out with people I try a little harder. I don't know if I just have changed and become more of a girl or what. I really don't know. I find it fun to dress up and get all excited about other's dressing up. Maybe it's because I have a younger brother and no sister. I have my mom, but she grew up on a farm so she grew up a tomboy for the most part. She taught me how to wear girly clothes, but I have always been more inclined to wear jeans and a t-shirt or shorts and a t-shirt. Now I'm looking for a nicer tank top to match on a nice day. I even caught myself looking at dresses when I went shopping today. Wow, well to get back to the point is that this party was pretty fun. I had more stuff than I thought and I can't believe the stuff that other people have. It's so much fun. I like living in a hall full of girls. It is a lot of fun.
Now for the gimps part. As I mentioned before I hurt my knee and have been on crutches and everything. It has gotten a lot better. I still have physical therapy starting tomorrow to try and make things better. Anyway, there is a girl on the second floor of my hall that hurt her ankle. We went to dinner the other night and realized that we were both gimps. It was pretty funny actually. Between the two of us we had to limp a little bit when walking back from getting dinner. I mean it's sad that we both got hurt, but somehow being with someone else that also has to limp just makes things seem not as bad. It was awesome. She is an awesome person too. So full of energy and smiles.
Today was so beautiful (actually this entire weekend has been) so some of the guys on first floor got the idea of a barbeque. Someone had a grill so we had a nice picnic barbeque in the courtyard. That was a lot of fun. It was almost our entire hall out there enjoying the sunshine, food, and soccer. It really allowed us all to bond as a group. It has been a full and busy weekend. I can't wait to see what is in store for next weekend. So until next time...
