I'm sorry to keep blogging about all the drama in HKSA and my involvement in wushu. If I'm not thinking about the Hong Kong Student Association, my thoughts turn to my classes or wushu. These are the three things that are currently at the top of my schedule. I really want to succeed in all three. As I am currently near the end of my junior year, I will only have one more year to enjoy all that the University of Oregon has to offer. It's a bit depressing to think about this. There's so much I wished I could have done earlier. Then again, I can't keep regretting the things I haven't done. Instead, I should look forward to the future and enjoy my current state.
I am thankful for all the people I have met through my involvement in these extracurricular activities, and I wish we could spend our time together forever, planning meetings, events, and practices together. These are all bonding experiences that I hope we will continue even after college. In the case of wushu, I want to continue to learn, even after I graduate. I hope to find time to practice on my own, as well as meeting up with the rest of the current team to train. College is definitely a life changing experience and I think I've grown a lot. To those who are just starting their studies, remember to have fun as well. I took a different path my freshmen year and never realized how much the UO has to offer.
It was raining hard earlier this afternoon, typical spring weather in Eugene. The clouds decided to roll in and the sky roared with thunder. I couldn't help but stop and look out the window, reminiscing the happy moments I have had these past few years. Rain does that to people. I had also opened the window to let in the cool fresh air as the sky poured and clashed. A single drop of water hitting the pavement ten thousand times drowned everything around me except for the thoughts in my head.
As of now the rain has stopped and there is a little peek of sun in the horizon. Blue skies and white clouds after a heavy shower is very common here. Life is so beautiful right now.
