Back to the Thesis

In an attempt to refresh my mind about what my thesis is on before school starts, I spent the other day doing some more research for it. It felt great to be getting back into it. I found several recent news articles that may prove helpful on the topic. I also got to take a glance at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's recent case studies on the Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program.

It is amazing how quickly I can get all nerdy about my research again. I just love sitting there and uncovering helpful tidbits and seeing how everything fits together. I love that this thesis is all me. It is my creation, something that I can be truly proud of when I am done.

I am hoping to get prepared to hit the ground running with my thesis come week one. I want to make sure that all of my interview questions are prepared so that I can set up my interview times with people early in the term. I would like to have my questions ready so that I can meet with my advisor and come up with a schedule for my thesis. I think it will be helpful to set deadlines for myself to avoid procrastination.

It is going to be a big project, but I am looking forward to the end results.
