This week is gearing up for the biggest Oregon football game of the year: the Civil War. In a "winner takes all" situation, the winner of this game will get a direct pass to the Rose Bowl. I am beyond words with excitement and anticipation, and I nervously wait for the big game to come. It is difficult to get too excited however, because I still do not know I have a ticket.
Student ticket distribution will not start until Monday @ 7 PM. This is less than 72 hours before the big kickoff. As an avid duck fan, I am disappointed that I have to wait this long to find out if I will be at the big game. If I am unable to get a ticket, I will not be able to buy a ticket except for to scalp one on game day or buy one on Craigslist for $200. I will keep you posted on if I get a ticket or not...wish me luck!
This has been such a great season for Oregon, and makes me proud to be a duck. Although the season started off with a violent act out of frustration, all the players on the team have stepped it up since then and worked hard on and off the field to show the nation what Oregon football is all about. Congrats on a great season so far boys...and good luck this Thursday!
