My 21st birthday!

            This weekend I celebrated my long overdue 21st birthday! I am now finally able to explore the different bars around Eugene. My birthday landed on a Saturday so I was able to take advantage of the whole weekend. My 21st was everything I could have hoped for and I feel so fortunate for having such amazing friends who made it so special. This just provided the opportunity to bring together with old friends with my new friends all in one night.

          On Friday I had friends over to our house and then at midnight I went to Rennie's-my first bar. On the day of my actual birthday I went to dinner with my closest friends at Agate Alley and then at night time I explored the other bars near campus. I'm excited to discover this new world of no longer being a minor, but for the rest of the week I most try to bring all my attention on my school work. Next weekend is the Sasquatch Music Festival up Washington, so I need to get all my studying done beforehand. As much as I don't want to accept it, it is no longer my birthday and I must face reality. I look forward to being able to escape again next weekend.
